Local author and illustrator, Jennifer Merz, will be presenting her latest picture book, Steadfast: Frances Perkins, Champion of Workers’ Rights. Merz will discuss Perkins’ enduring legacy as inspiration for this new historical nonfiction story for children and will present her unique illustrative process and style.
